Learn how to build live "data studio-like" dashboards that pull fresh data every time you open them.
A live artifact is a dashboard Claude builds for you that pulls fresh data from your connected accounts every time you open it.
Unlike a one-off report in the chat, it stays current: Open it tomorrow and the numbers will update. It persists across sessions, so you can keep coming back to it.
Use cases for updating dashboards
You can find the prompts for each of them below.
Lead-gen dashboards — KPI cards, a campaign league table by CPA, and a leads-vs-CPA trend.
Search terms & wasted spend — top converting terms plus ready-to-use negative keywords and recoverable spend.
Shopping & Performance Max — channel split, product winners and losers by ROAS, and PMax search-term insights.
Merchant Center feed health — approved/disapproved counts, account issues by severity, and a prioritised fix list.
Budget pacing trackers — target vs. actual spend by account or campaign, with over/under-pacing flagged.
Multi-account overviews — one page rolling up every account you manage.
Account health checks — optimization score, issues, and what to fix first.
How to build one
It's easy: You create them purely with natural language aka "prompts" from the chat.
1. Open the relevant project
2. Describe the dashboard you want in the chat
3. Ask for a "live artifact as part of your prompt"
or paste one of the prompts below.
What's important to know
Artifacts pull live data on open. Each time you open one it fetches fresh data from your accounts, so what you see is current, no need to rebuild it.
They're best for things you'll check again. If it's a one-time question, a chat answer is enough. Turn it into an artifact when you'll want to re-open it later.
You can adapt them. You can always edit and evolve your dashboards, by clicking on the "Chat" item on the top, when you are in a dashboard.
Sample prompts
Copy any of these into a project chat to build the artifact. Anything in [brackets] is a variable to change — target values, budgets, thresholds. The hex codes set your brand colours; swap them for your own anytime.
KPI cards, a campaign league table by CPA, and a leads-vs-CPA trend. CPA turns green below target, red above.

Lead-Gen Dashboard
Using my Hypd Google Ads tools, build a live lead-gen dashboard. List my accounts and ask which to use. Ask me my target CPA (cost per lead).
KPI cards: spend, conversions (leads), cost/lead, conversion rate, clicks, CTR, average CPC and search impression share — each with the change vs the previous period. Colour CPA green when below target and red when above. Campaign table ranked by spend (leads, CPA, conv rate, Δ vs prior). Daily trend of leads vs CPA. Flag campaigns that spent with zero leads.
Add a date-range picker at the top with preset buttons — Last 7 days, Last 30 days (default), Last 90 days, This month, Last month, Year to date — plus a Custom range with start/end date fields. Re-pull all data when I change the range and show the change vs the previous equivalent period.
Style it with these brand colours (swap these hex codes for your own anytime): accent #F5C233, text #2B2B2B, secondary text #666666, positive/up #22C55E, negative/down #DC2626, background #F8F8F8, surface #FFFFFF, borders #E5E5E5. Use the accent (yellow) for highlights, active elements and the most important data series (dark text on yellow), and green/red for up/down deltas.
Make it a live artifact I can re-open and refresh — cache the data on load and let me change the date range to re-query.
Top converting terms plus a wasted-spend table with ready-to-use negative keywords and recoverable spend.

Search Terms & Keywords
Using my Hypd Google Ads tools, build a live search-terms and wasted-spend dashboard for my search campaigns.
Show the top converting search terms (cost, conversions, CPA). Then a wasted-spend table of search terms and keywords that spent over [£X] with zero conversions, grouped by likely reason (irrelevant, wrong intent, too broad), with a suggested negative keyword and match type for each. Show total recoverable spend as a headline number.
Channel split, product winners and losers by ROAS, and PMax search-term insights.

Shopping & Performance Max
Using my Hypd Google Ads tools, build a live Shopping & Performance Max dashboard for my account.
Break results down by campaign and, for PMax, by channel where available (Shopping, Display, Video, Search). Show product-level performance: top 10 products by revenue and bottom 10 by ROAS, with impressions, clicks, cost, conversions, revenue and ROAS. Flag products with spend but zero conversions as wasted spend, and total that waste as a headline number. Pull PMax search-term insights if available and group them by intent.
Approved/disapproved counts, account issues by severity, and a prioritised fix list.

Merchant Center Feed Health
Using my Hypd Merchant Center tools, build a live feed-health dashboard. List my Merchant Center accounts and use the main one.
KPI cards: total products, and approved vs disapproved vs pending counts. List all current account-level issues grouped by severity (errors first). Then a table of disapproved or limited products with the reason and the fix, ordered by how much revenue each likely blocks.
No date picker needed — this is current feed status.

Target vs. actual spend by campaign, with over- and under-pacing flagged.

Budget Pacing Tracker
Using my Hypd Google Ads tools, build a live budget-pacing dashboard. List my accounts and ask which to use. Ask me the monthly budget (at account level, or per campaign if I prefer).
KPI cards: month-to-date spend, target spend to date, projected end-of-month spend, and % over- or under-pacing — coloured green when on track and red when off. Campaign table with monthly budget, spend to date, current daily pace, the adjusted daily pace needed to hit target, and % over/under. Daily trend of cumulative spend vs the target pacing line. Flag any campaign pacing more than [10]% over or under.
Add a date-range picker at the top with preset buttons — This month (default), Last month, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Year to date — plus a Custom range with start/end date fields. Re-pull all data when I change the range.
Style it with these brand colours (swap these hex codes for your own anytime): accent #F5C233, text #2B2B2B, secondary text #666666, positive/up #22C55E, negative/down #DC2626, background #F8F8F8, surface #FFFFFF, borders #E5E5E5. One page rolling up every account you manage, with the ones that need attention surfaced first.

Multi-Account Overview
Using my Hypd Google Ads tools, build a live multi-account overview dashboard. List all my accounts and include the ones I select (or all of them).
KPI cards aggregating totals across all selected accounts: spend, conversions, conversion value, CPA and ROAS — each with the change vs the previous period. Then one row per account with spend, conversions, CPA, ROAS, conversion value and budget pacing (% over/under), each with the change vs prior. Sort by spend by default and let me sort by any column. Surface accounts that need attention at the top — zero conversions, a [30]%+ drop vs prior period, or pacing more than [20]% off target.
Add a date-range picker at the top with preset buttons — Last 7 days, Last 30 days (default), Last 90 days, This month, Last month, Year to date — plus a Custom range with start/end date fields. Re-pull all data when I change the range and show the change vs the previous equivalent period.
